Walter (1852-1933) first met Annie (1877-1948) in 1900 while his first wife Eleanor (SLADE) was still alive.
Eleanor (or Ellen as she was later known) died in Feb 1917 and Walter and Annie married in April 1917.
Annie Mary was the daughter of Charles CUTTS and Sarah KILMINSTER.
Walter was a stonemason journeyman and he worked in marble. We have examples of marble clocks, various ornaments, small crosses and hearts for pendants from the odd pieces that were left over. In 1926 Walter and Annie moved to a newsagents shop in Putney Bridge Road.
