Benjamin Jacques (1827-1908)

Benjamin JACQUES, a stone sawyer, was born in Chippenham in 1827.
He was baptised on 25 December 1827.
His marriage to Eliabeth WHITE took place at St Peter's, Regent Square,
on 3rd March 1863.
Elizabeth is the daughter of Patrick WHITE, a farmer.
Their address is given as 15, Tonbridge Street.
The marriage was witnessed by Henry MORGAN & Mary MANLEY

Annie Jacques, the daughter of Benjamin and Elizabeth,
died of cancer, aged 49, at St Lukes House, Pembridge Square on 16th April 1908.
On her death certificate, her occupation was recorded as follows:-
"Spinster Forewoman in a Wholesale Chemist of 40 South Place, Kensington Park"
